El Proceso de aprobación de piezas de producción, o presentación PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), es uno de los más comunes en la industria automotriz cuando se introduce una pieza nueva o cuando se modifica en el proceso de producción.
¿Por qué hacer uso del PAPP?
Esta Core Tool te permitirá asegurar que:
- Se comprendan los requisitos del cliente
- Tu producto cumpla con esos requisitos
- Tu proceso sea capaz de producir un producto conforme
- El plan de control del producto junto con el sistema de gestión de calidad evitarán que las piezas no conformes lleguen al cliente.
Además de ser un requerimiento de la especificación técnica IATF 16949, el PPAP ahorra tiempo y dinero a las OEM, Tier 1, TIER 2 y TIER 3 cuando se completan correctamente. Sin embargo, no completar correcta y completamente el PPAP puede resultar en una pérdida de tiempo y dinero debido a fallas y retiros del mercado.
